How to choose access control exit button?

Choosing a suitable exit button for access control system is important.

There are two ways to pass in and out of the access systems:

1, Read the card when entering or leaving. We usually called it “two-way entrance card” or “two-way read card”. The advantage of this way is that the security level is high. In general, it is not allowed to go out and there is a record to find out when and who came out of the door.

2, Read the card when entering and press the exit button to unlock the door when leaving. We usually called “one-way entrance guide” or “one-way read card”. The advantage of this approach is more convenient but security level and cost are lower. The popularity of this approach is much broader, and it is used in most office access departments for cost performance reasons.

The "exit button" or "door button" used in this mode is an integral part of the access control device.

The principle of the exit button is actually the principle of a doorbell button. When pressed, the inner two contacts will guide the button. When released, the button will bounce back and the contact will be disconnected. So, in some projects, it is possible to use doorbell button on the door button, however, doorbell button usually prints a "bell" pattern on it.

What's the type of exit button?

1, According to the material:

Can be divided into a plastic button and metal button. The plastic button is cheap and durable but seems lower level than the metal button. Metal button looks upscale but the lifetime is shorter than the plastic button and feels a little harder.

2, According to the size:

Can be divided into 86 boxes button (such as wall outlet and the bottom box of the fluorescent lamp switch) and small button (there are too many sizes of the small button, it is more beautiful in appearance but lower standard than 86 boxes button)

What's Suggestion on model selection?

1, It is recommended to use the 86-bottom box button if it is for the weak current construction of the standardized building,

2, It is recommended to use the metal button if it is for high-grade and gorgeous decoration.

3, It is recommended to use the plastic button if the decoration style is practical, simplicity and low cost.

4, Some place is inconvenient to install 86 bottom box, installation space is relatively small, for example, stainless steel door frame (if door frame is glass), suggest to install small button
