How to connect to the remote control in access control system

1, Customers usually have two purposed to connect the access control system to the remote controller. Which are:

Purpose 1: Someone is lazy to get up and open the door for the visitors. But carries the remote control with him. To press it, the door is open and the visitors come in.

Purpose 2: some users are not confident in the stability of the access control system electronic products. They hope there is a solution that even if the access control system is broken, it can open the door in other solution.
In view of these two purposes, the wiring of the remote control is not the same.

2, Purchasing notices of the remote control
The remote control has two states:
  • State one: Press remote control button, relay action, loose, reset.
  • State two: Press on the button, relay action, Press off button, relay reset.
Most of the remote controls have these two options. Set it up to state one according to the remote controller's manual, or purchase the state one remote control.
It is better to use a 12VDC receiver for the remote control so that it can be used directly. No need for extra power supply.

There are many brands of the remote control, but the principle of remote control in different companies is the same. Customers can buy it himself.

In addition, please consult the supplier first about the remote control distance. The marked distance means the open place distance. The actual distance will be shorter.

Each receiver can have several remote controls. Check the code before using. Please reference the instruction for code checking. Not only need to buy the remote control but also the receiver. Otherwise, it can't be workable.

3, Connecting remote control method:(One receiver can't meet two purposes at the same time).
  • The connecting method to meet the purpose one:
Connect the receiver's COM and NO to the button position of the access control system controller.
  • The connecting method to meet the purpose two:（Take electric lock, electromagnetic lock as an example）
Remove the wire of positive pole on NC of access control system controller. Connect it to the receiver's NC.
Connect the NC of the controller with the COM of the receiver.
  • The connecting method to meet the purpose three:(Electric lock buckle for example)
Connect the COM of the receiver with the COM of the controller.
Connect the NO of the receiver with the NO of the controller.
The original controller and electric lock keep the same.

Note: If the power supply or the electric lock itself is broken, such as electric lock can't return back, this way is not useful for the purpose two.
The remote control is with battery inside. It needs to replaced after 1-year use. Depend on the using time.
